The Source

Concept behind this piece was to make a tree that would be the source of all unicorn magic (note: the stronger the connection with the tree the more powerful the unicorns magic).
Of course I will leave you with your imagination and see what comes to mind.
Inspiration for this came from tending to my bonsai tree and listening to Arise by E.S Posthumus

This was yet again a lot of first time's with this picture, previously to this had never drawn a tree like this,
I've changed a lot about my style through this so I hope these developments showed

I might put together a basic annotated timeline for how I did some of the aspects in this picture.
I have also added a grey scale version so you can see just how badly i failed at the value and definition between features.
