Description

Finally got around to doing a Rainbow Dash piece after all this time, so I really decided to go crazy with the whole "Rainbow" aspect if the piece.
Took around 18 hours total including time spent sitting around chatting, so productive...

As per usual I'd love to hear your thoughts on the piece in the comments below!

Thank you!!

This is an amazing piece of work, the rainbow trail is beautifully done and imaginative. I like the way you added refracting light in the waves to give them depth, and the sun rays beyond the clouds are a nice touch. Only one thing I can find in this picture that confuses me, there is sunshine in the right bottom corner, and a night sky in the upper left corner, it seems that the sunlight would be a little more visible in that little patch of sky as well, seeing as the sun is positioned behind the cloud, and would easily highlight the sky more than it is already lit.

Other than that, flawless technique, and well done on the water, it is well displayed. You created noticeable depth which adds to the realistic quality of the drawing. Her wings are anatomically correct which is wonderful, I sometimes see great drawings that have anatomically incorrect body parts, so more points for you on that one.

I'm already a watcher so I can't watch you again <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/f/f…" width="15" height="15" alt=":(" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="380" title=":( (Sad)"/>, but if I could I would. Great job!
(I really had to study this drawing to get any inkling of fault, you are a great artist)
